After Cello studies, Dimitri Soudoplatoff graduated from the CNSMDP (Conservatoire National de Musique et de Danse de Paris) with a Master in Music Production. He also studied and was awarded multiple first prizes in Composition, Orchestration and Movie Scoring with composers Thierry Escaich, Guillaume Connesson, Fabien Waksman and Marie-Jeanne Serero. As a conductor, taught by Larry Rachleff, Julien Leroy, Sasha Mäkila, Jean-Sebastien Bereau and Georges Pehlivanian, he has conducted several professional orchestras including « l’Orchestre National de Lorraine », « l’Orchestre des Lauréats du CNSMDP » the Pärnu City Orchestra, the Bulgarian New Symphony orchestra, and Choirs such as the « Jeune Chœur de Paris » and the « Maîtrise de Notre-Dame ». He has also collaborated with Jazz and World music musicians including Petru Guelfucci, Fred Pallem and Melody Gardot.

He is principal co-conductor of the Ars Fidelis Orchestra.
